Major: Exercise Science
Oriol Gazquez Perez is an Exercise Science major with a passion for helping others, both on and off the field. His favorite hobby is cooking, and his dream job is to become a teacher, a goal he's had since he was young.
In high school, his favorite subject was math, and when it comes to soccer, he looks up to Lionel Messi as his icon. Oriol stays fueled with protein bars on road trips, drinks water, and his go-to meal is a classic plate of pasta.
He considers himself a supportive teammate, always ready to lend a hand whenever someone needs it. Oriol hopes to be remembered as a reliable and encouraging presence within the team.
At Union, he credits Chris Gibson and Coach Shaw—a Union graduate—for having a positive impact on his experience.
Outside of soccer, Oriol also enjoys golf and basketball, which he ranks as his second and third favorite sports.
