Major: Exercise Science

LaTalyah Sloan enjoys the positive energy at Union Commonwealth University and feels confident that she will be comfortable in the close-knit community. Known as a caring and cheerful teammate, she brings humor and fun to her team while supporting those around her.

Outside of track and field, LaTalyah likes to dance and sing. Her favorite meal is tacos, and she enjoys snacking on Goldfish, beef jerky, and gummy candy during road trips, with any type of juice as her drink of choice. LaTalyah’s favorite subject in high school was English, and she looks up to Sha’Carri Richardson as her sport icon.

She dreams of becoming a sports medicine physician to help athletes perform at their best and also enjoys flag football as her second-best sport.
