Major: Master’s in Digital Marketing

Lydia Workman appreciates the kindness she has found at Union Commonwealth University, sharing that every staff member she has met has been genuinely sweet and welcoming. She brings that same positivity to the team, describing herself as an optimistic teammate who is always ready to cheer others on.

Outside of track and field, Lydia loves reading, and her dream is to become a cosmetologist so she can work alongside her mom in the salon. Her favorite subject in high school was reading, and she looks up to Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone as her athletic icon.

Chocolate milk is her favorite drink, and Flavor Blasted Cheddar Goldfish are her go-to road-trip snack. She enjoys TikTok as her favorite social platform and names her mom’s pork chops with green beans, corn, and potatoes as her favorite meal. At home, she has three cats—Queen, Patches Jack, and Rocket.

Lydia hopes to be remembered as a great friend to everyone she meets. She also shares a fun detail: her hair will probably be a different color each week. Her second-best sports are cheer and basketball.
