Major: Business Administration

At Union Commonwealth, Torrean Thornton values the people and the uplifting environment they create. A multi-sport athlete at heart, basketball was his first love, track his second, and baseball “the one that got away.” Outside of running, he enjoys basketball, working out, and spending time with his dog, Chloe.

Torrean is known as a supportive teammate who lifts spirits with humor and positivity. He hopes to be remembered for his character and the joy he brings to others. His favorite meal is chicken alfredo, his go-to road trip snack is Twizzlers, and he never turns down a Fireworks Faygo. Torrean credits Professor Sisson for having a positive influence on his life while at Union Commonwealth University.
