Barbourville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's soccer team tied 1-1 with Lindsey Wilson on Saturday.
Silvia Marchesi scored the first goal for Lindsey Wilson in the first half. In the second half, Rosalinda Sanchez tied it up for the Bulldogs with a free kick, which marked her second goal of the season.
Chiara Isanto made four saves, while UCU took two shots, both on goal. Lindsey Wilson had 10 shots, with five on goal.
The Bulldogs are now 4-3-2 this season, while Lindsey Wilson is 0-5-2. Next for Union is an away conference match against Montreat on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 7:15 p.m.
