Abigail Merten Earns MSC Bowler of the Week Amidst Raider Classic

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University freshman Abigail Merten has been named the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Women's Bowler of the Week following her standout performance at the Roto Grip Raider Classic this weekend.

Merten was the top MSC bowler at the tournament, finishing fifth overall with 803 total pins across four games for a 200.75 average. Her best showing came in the third game, where she bowled an impressive 248. 

"Abigail put together a great set, showing her bowling knowledge and transition skills to average 200 for the whole day," said Union head bowling coach Tom Doyle.
