Union Women’s Bowling Builds Momentum at Raider Classic

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio – The Union Commonwealth University women's bowling team competed at the Roto Grip Raider Classic over the weekend.

The Bulldogs placed sixth out of 15 teams with a total score of 6,183 over four games.

Abigail Merten led the team with an impressive fifth-place finish, totaling 803 pins across four games for a 200.75 average. Her best performance came in the third game, where she bowled a 248. Merten was also the top MSC bowler at the tournament.

Alyssa Mueller and Brylie Gold followed closely behind. Mueller knocked down 678 pins for a 169.5 average, while Gold totaled 676 pins with a 169 average.

Laila Lambert and Marissa Prieto rounded out the lineup with Lambert posting 675 pins (168.75 average) and Prieto finishing with 674 pins (168.5 average).
