Major: Public Health

Ethan Combs values Union for its small campus environment, which makes it easier to build strong connections with others. His passion lies in public health, with a dream of making the world a cleaner place and educating people on health standards, because he believes that cleanliness should always be a priority.

Outside of the classroom, Ethan enjoys working on cars and admiring well-built ones. His favorite subject in high school was science, and his running icon is Usain Bolt. His go-to drink is strawberry kiwi Propel water, his favorite road trip snack is teriyaki beef jerky, and his ideal meal is steak with mashed potatoes and corn. He’s most active on Snapchat.

Ethan has a lynx point Siamese cat and considers himself a quiet, helpful, and dedicated teammate. He wants to be remembered for making the right choices both on and off the field.

An interesting fact about Ethan is that his middle name is Kal-El—Superman’s birth name. Someone at Union who’s had a positive impact on him is Robin Hamilton, and he’s also inspired by several mentors and coaches who are Union graduates. His second-best sport is football.
