Major: Computer Science

Jovan Boughan is a Computer Science major whose favorite thing about Union is the opportunity to play soccer at a high level. His passion for the game fuels both his dream of becoming a professional player or coach—a role where he hopes to bring out the best in himself and others while spreading joy through the sport.

Off the field, Jovan enjoys singing and once even appeared on TV for it. His favorite subject in high school was math, and his soccer icon is Steven Gerrard for his leadership and intensity.

Jovan keeps it classic with Fanta as his favorite drink and enjoys Walkers cheese & onion crisps or Twirl bites on road trips. His go-to meals are pizza or chicken curry, and he’s most active on Instagram.

As a teammate, Jovan sees himself as selfless, hard-working, and supportive, with a winner’s mindset and a demanding presence on the pitch. He wants to be remembered for the positive impact he leaves on those around him. In addition to soccer, he enjoys boxing, badminton, cricket, tennis, and padel.
