Three Union men's soccer players named to the AAC's 2024 Players to Watch List

Barbourville, Ky. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released its 2024 Men's Soccer Players to Watch List on Friday. Union Commonwealth University had three players appear on the list.

Union Men's Soccer Players on the AAC's Players to Watch List:

Callum Edwards (ST) - Edwards garnered multiple AAC honors last season, which included Freshman of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and the Golden Boot Award. Edwards was also named First-Team All-ACC. He led the AAC in goals with 23, while ranking second in the NAIA. Additionally, Edwards scored two goals in nine different games.

Callum Longworth (W) - Longworth earned First-Team All-ACC honors in 2023, and ranked fifth in the AAC with eight assists. He also scored a season-high two goals last season in Union's 10-1 win over Kentucky Christian on Sept. 27.

Biel Vallverdu (M) – Last season, Vallverdu was one of three players that was tied for second in the AAC in assists with nine. He played in 18 games as a freshman, while starting in 17.
