Le’Trell Karnickey says his favorite thing about Union is the culture, which makes the campus feel like home. When he’s not on the field, he enjoys chilling with friends and spending time with his two dogs and a cat.

Le’Trell’s dream is to become an athletic trainer, helping other athletes reach their full potential. He enjoyed historymost in high school and looks up to Micah Parsons as his football icon. His go-to drink is Sprite, his favorite road trip snack is Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and he never turns down a plate of lasagna.

He’s most active on TikTok and considers himself a chill, laid-back teammate. Le’Trell wants to be remembered for helping to build a strong culture at Union. Something interesting about him? He knows how to weld and could pursue it professionally if he wanted. His second-best sport is wrestling, and Coach Boston has made a positive impact on his time at Union.
