Major: Business
Minor: Coaching

Matthew Hager is a Business major with a minor in Coaching who says the people at Union are what make the college experience special. The relationships and support he's found on campus have helped shape his time here.

His dream job is to become a head marketing expert for a major company, combining strategy and creativity to lead brand success. His favorite subject in high school was English, and in his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and playing video games.

Matthew’s football icon is T.J. Watt, known for his relentless work ethic. His favorite drink is Dr Pepper, his go-to road trip snack is Bugles, and his favorite meal is pasta. He’s most active on Instagram and has both a dog and a cat at home.

As a teammate, Matthew considers himself someone who gets things done—dependable, focused, and ready to put in the work. He credits Coach Kidd as someone who’s had a strong, positive impact on him during his time at Union. His second-best sports are volleyball and basketball.
