Major: Exercise Science

Myona Russell is an Exercise Science major who loves the close-knit and supportive atmosphere at Union. To her, the campus feels like home, where everyone encourages each other to grow.

Her dream is to become an athletic trainer, inspired by her passion for helping athletes stay healthy and perform at their best. In high school, her favorite subject was math, and she looks up to cheer icon Gabi Butler.

Outside of cheer, Myona enjoys coloring in her free time. Her favorite drink is Sprite, her go-to road trip snack is Airhead Xtremes Bites, and her favorite meal is spaghetti. She's most active on TikTok and describes herself as a goofy and funny teammate who loves to bring energy to the squad.

Myona wants to be remembered for her hard work and dedication. If she weren’t cheering, her third-best sport would be gymnastics.
