Major: Nursing

Kayla Anderson is a Nursing major with a passion for helping others and a dream of becoming a travel nurse—allowing her to care for people across the country while experiencing new places.

Her favorite thing about Union is the friends and memories she’s made so far. Outside of cheer, she loves anything involving nature and has a second passion for doing hair, backed by her career in cosmetology.

In high school, her favorite subject was math, and her go-to drink is Grape Propel. When it comes to road trips, you’ll find her snacking on Nerds Gummy Clusters, and she never turns down a meal of chicken and rice. She's active on TikTok and shares her life with her dog Dasher.

Kayla considers herself a teammate who’s always trying to make everyone happy and strives to be remembered for being a great friend and always there for others. Her second-best sport is basketball.
