Teams of Distinction
Beginning in 2008, the Union Commonwealth University Department of Athletics began recognizing teams for their accomplishments and created the Teams of Distinction honor. This honor is recognized each year at the Mackies, which is Union's annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony. To be recognized, teams need to have won a conference, region and/or national championship, be ranked in the NAIA Top 25, and/or qualify for an NAIA national championship tournament.
