Baymont Inn Player of the Game: Emily Shumaker

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's volleyball team, in partnership with Baymont Inn, named senior outside hitter Emily Shumaker the Player of the Game following the Bulldogs' Saturday afternoon home win against Bluefield.

Shumaker recorded 12 kills, two blocks, and 13 points in Union's match against Bluefield. She sparked the way for Union's offense as they would sweep the Rams in three sets.

Union Commonwealth and its athletic department thank Baymont Inn for sponsoring the Player of the Game recognition and for its continued support of Bulldog student-athletes.
