Major: Undecided
Emma Broughton is currently undecided on her major, but one thing she’s certain about is her love for Union’s welcoming community. She values how everyone on campus makes her feel at home. Emma enjoys spending her free time hanging out with the people she loves, and her dream is to become a successful volleyball coach—a goal fueled by her deep passion for the sport.
Her favorite subject in high school was science, and she looks up to volleyball icon Justine Wong-Orantes for inspiration. Her go-to drink is Mountain Dew, and she snacks on Goldfish during road trips. Pizza tops the list as her favorite meal, and she enjoys connecting with others on Instagram. Emma also has a unique pet—a bird named Jill.
As a teammate, Emma considers herself kind, helpful, and encouraging. She hopes to be remembered for her kindness and unwavering dedication to her team. Her second-best sport is softball.
