Union’s Raquel Kessler named to Milligan Mountain Madness All-Tournament Team

Barbourville, Ky. – The Milligan Mountain Madness volleyball tournament was held this past weekend. Union Commonwealth University went 1-3 in the tourney, while winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-20) against Shawnee State. The Bulldogs had a competitive five-set match against Point.

Raquel Kessler was UCU's representative on the Milligan Mountain Madness All-Tournament Team. Kessler tallied 53 of Union's 150 kills in the tournament, which led the team. The Jackson Center, Ohio, native registered 34 digs, which was tied for the most by a Bulldog in the tourney.

Kessler tallied double-digit kills in three of the four matches, while collecting at least nine kills in each match. She recorded 16 kills and seven digs in Union's win over Shawnee State. Kessler recorded 18 kills against Point.
