Union’s Raquel Kessler named AAC Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. – Union senior Raquel Kessler has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week.

Kessler tallied 57 kills through three games last week. She recorded at least 20 kills in two matchups as she registered 23 against Bluefield and 20 against Truett McConnell.

She recorded 14 kills in Union's 3-0 victory over Reinhardt on Oct. 13. Kessler also recorded six solo blocks and 12 digs on the week.

Up next for the Bulldogs is a road conference game on Tuesday, Oct. 17, against Tennessee Wesleyan. That matchup is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m.
