Union women’s outdoor track field recap of the Landon Bond Classic

Berea, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's outdoor track and field team recently competed at the Landon Bond Classic. They finished tied for 15th with a team score of 6.

Track Events

In the sprints, Melanie Partin and Kaylee Hall represented UCU in the 200m, with Partin clocking in at 30.90 and Hall close behind at 31.12. The duo also competed in the 400m, where Partin posted a time of 1:15.20, narrowly edging out Hall, who finished at 1:15.60.

Abby Mabe competed in the 800m, crossing the finish line in 2:33.50. Meanwhile, in the 3000m Steeplechase, Sofia Petz secured a podium finish, placing third with a time of 13:58.38.
