Union women's indoor track and field competes at Lions Invitational
Cincinnati, Oh. - The Union Commonwealth University women's indoor track and field team finished 10th overall with 23 points at the Lions Invitational on Saturday.
Erin Pease placed 16th in the 200 meters with a time of 30.09 seconds. In the 400 meters, Melanie Partin finished 8th in 1:14.38, while Bella Townsend took 10th with a time of 1:16.84.
In the 800 meters, Sofia Petz placed 10th with a time of 2:49.87, followed by Jasmine Clouse in 11th at 2:51.71. Erin Pease took second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.00 seconds.
The team of Jasmine Clouse, Abby Mabe, Sofia Petz, and Kaylee Hall also finished second in the distance medley relay with a time of 15:08.11.
In the high jump, Malene Obermayer earned third place with a clearance of 1.50m, while Pease finished in 10th place with a mark of 1.25m.
