Union’s Liliana Drukerova named AAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) has announced Liliana Drukerova as the AAC's Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Union's only match last week occurred at Division II opponent Lees-McRae. Drukerova was slotted at No. 1 in both singles and doubles competition.

Drukerova won her singles match 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 against Pati Vedia Sanchez. In doubles play, Drukerova and Lucy Spice defeated Paty Vedia Sanchez and Anita Ivanova 6-4.

Up next for Drukerova and the Bulldogs is a home match on Monday, March 11, against Oakland City.
