Bulldogs Return to ITC Sectionals, Post Strong Effort

SMYRNA, Tenn. – Making its return to postseason competition, the Union Commonwealth University women's bowling team competed at the Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Sectional Qualifier, hosted by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC), over the weekend.

Facing a field of 19 teams, the Bulldogs took on a demanding format that featured four 16-game blocks across the two-day event. The appearance marked Union's first trip to ITC Sectionals since the 2022–23 season.

Union totaled 10,384 pins over the weekend, averaging 2,596 pins per block against a competitive field. The Bulldogs' top performance came in Game 12, where they posted a team-high score of 236.
