Union Commonwealth Bowlers Earn Mid-South Conference Awards

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference announced its 2025–26 Bowling Academic Awards, Champions of Character, and All-Conference honors, with Union Commonwealth University student-athletes recognized across all three categories.

Academic Awards

Olivia Brock and Laila Lambert were named Academic All-Conference on the women's side, with Hunter Cain earning Academic All-Conference honors for the men.

Student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be in their third term or fourth quarter to qualify, recognizing excellence both in competition and the classroom.

Champions of Character

Olivia Brock and Hunter Cain were also named to the 2025–26 Mid-South Conference Bowling Champions of Character Team.

These awards recognize student-athletes nominated by their coaches for leadership on and off campus and commitment to the NAIA's core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

First Team All-Conference

Laila Lambert added First Team All-Conference honors after a strong season on the lanes marked by consistent performances throughout conference play.

To be eligible for conference recognition, bowlers must compete in at least 70 percent of conference matches, with All-Conference selections participating in a minimum of 12 of 16 regular-season games.

These recognitions highlight Union Commonwealth's continued commitment to excellence in athletics, academics, and character development.
