Lambert Earns MSC Bowler of the Week Honors

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union Commonwealth University's Laila Lambert has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week.

At the Bee Bash this past weekend, Lambert earned All-Tournament Team honors after finishing first overall out of 34 bowlers with a 1,108-pin total and a 184.67 average through six games. She capped her performance with a tournament-high score of 225 in her final game.

"Pretty impressive—she won by a wide margin," said Union head bowling coach Tom Doyle. "It's only the second time she's earned both All-Tournament Team and Bowler of the Week honors, and I was really impressed by her determination. Once she knew she was in the running, she bowled her best game yet.
