Union men’s cross country recap from the Mike and Mary Kay Johnson Classic

Berea, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's cross country team competed in the Mike and Mary Kay Johnson Classic on Saturday.

Men 8k Run

Jackson Crume led the Bulldogs in 10th place with a time of 28:59.53. Zabrey Bortz finished 23rd at 31:22.05, with Connor Partin close behind in 25th at 31:28.99.

Tyler Payne came in 29th at 32:10.27, followed by Alex Garcia in 36th at 33:12.09.

Noah Hale placed 40th with a time of 34:22.51, and Tim Freeman finished 49th at 35:15.90.

Torrean Thornton placed 49th with a time of 38:08.41.

Men's 8000 Meters

 UCU placed fifth as a team with 112 points.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Midway University Invitational on Friday, Sept. 20.
