Major: Business Administration

Torrean Thornton appreciates the quiet campus at Union Commonwealth University, finding it to be a great place to focus and grow. Known as a goofy and uplifting teammate, he enjoys bringing positive energy to those around him and making people smile through his stories.

Outside of track and field, Torrean enjoys working and spending time with his dog, Chloe. His favorite meal is chicken alfredo, and he likes to snack on Twizzlers during road trips. Torrean’s favorite drink is water, and he spends time on Instagram as his preferred social media platform. He looks up to Michael Norman as his sport icon and enjoyed studying chemistry in high school.

One fun fact about Torrean is that he is double-jointed. Torrean enjoys playing basketball as his second-best sport. He credits Mr. Becknell for making a positive impact on his time at Union.
