Union indoor track and field season preview and schedule release

Barbourville, Ky. - The 2024-25 indoor track and field season kicks off this Saturday for Union Commonwealth University at the Centre First Chance meet.

Last indoor season, Chandler Mills repeatedly broke his own race walk school record, while Payton Ellison won the AAC Championships with a high jump of 1.96 meters.

 In the upcoming indoor season, the Bulldogs are set to compete in six meets, culminating in the AAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. "With our talented freshman class and key returners, I believe we're poised to surprise a lot of teams," said head coach Chris Jelks. "I'm incredibly excited about the potential of this group."
