Union men’s tennis does not receive at-large bid to national tournament

Barbourville, Ky. – The 24-team field for the 2025 UTR Sports NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship was announced on Tuesday. The field was made up of 13 automatic berths with 11 programs receiving at-large bids.

The Union Commonwealth University men's tennis team fell short in the AAC semifinals, which led to an at-large bid being Union's only path to the tournament. UCU did not receive an at-large bid.

Union received votes in the final edition of this season's NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Rating. The Bulldogs received the most final points of any unranked team.

Each of the teams that earned at-large bids were ranked in the latest poll. No. 24 Missouri Baptist was the closest-ranked team to Union that received an at-large bid.
