UCU tennis earns multiple All-AAC honors
Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University tennis programs earned multiple honors when the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) recently announced its All-Conference Teams and Awards for the 2025 season.
UCU's All-AAC Women's Tennis Awards:
Anastasiia Iakovlieva – First Team: Iakovlieva was 12-3 during the regular season in singles matches, while going 10-5 in doubles competition.
Magdalena Skachova – First Team: Skachova was 11-3 in singles matches during the regular season, while going 10-4 in doubles competition.
Laia Garriga Oms – Second Team: Garriga Oms was 12-3 during the regular season in singles matches, while going 11-4 in doubles competition.
UCU's All-AAC Men's Tennis Awards:
Victor Bourguignon – First Team: Bourguignon was 10-3 in singles matches during the regular season, while going 10-4 in doubles competition.
Luke Geduldt – First Team: Geduldt was 10-5 during the regular season in singles matches, while going 12-3 in doubles competition.
Yassine Azehaf – All-Freshmen Team: Azehaf was 8-6 in singles matches during the regular season, while going 1-0 in doubles competition.
Artsiom Sinitsyn – All-Freshmen Team: While being a staple in Union's No. 1 singles slot, Sinitsyn was 4-8 during the regular season in singles matches. He was 4-5 during doubles competition.
