Major: Music

Dylan Velasquez is majoring in music and was drawn to Union because of its beautiful and well-rounded campus. He appreciates the welcoming environment and looks forward to growing both academically and athletically during his time at the university. In addition to competing on the soccer field, Velasquez is passionate about music and enjoys expressing his creativity through his studies and personal projects.

Outside of soccer, Velasquez enjoys creating and producing music in his free time. Physical education was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer players are Charles Aránguiz and Zinedine Zidane, whose leadership, vision, and skill have inspired him throughout his career. Strawberry juice is his drink of choice, and on road trips he's most likely reaching for chocolate. Instagram is his favorite social media platform.

Velasquez describes himself as a funny and loyal teammate who enjoys building strong relationships with those around him. He hopes to be remembered for being unique and bringing his own personality to the team. He has pets and says that if he weren't playing soccer, basketball would be his second-best sport, which he enjoys playing casually.
