Major: Exercise Science

Moritz Stark is majoring in exercise science after choosing Union because of its strong sports program, development team, and welcoming coaching staff. He appreciates the opportunity to continue developing as both a student and an athlete while being part of a supportive environment. Stark hopes to become a sports scientist and one day open his own practice in his hometown, allowing him to help athletes improve their performance and overall health.

Outside of soccer, Stark enjoys competing in a variety of sports, with volleyball being his favorite. Physical education, English, and math were his favorite subjects in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Kaoru Mitoma, whose creativity and technical ability he admires. Shakshuka is his favorite meal, while water and tea are his drinks of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for salami sticks, and Instagram is his preferred social media platform.

Stark describes himself as an ambitious teammate who enjoys working hard while also bringing fun and positive energy to the team. He hopes to be remembered for his character and the way he treats those around him. He has cats and enjoys constantly learning new things, especially geography, and prides himself on having strong general knowledge. If he weren't playing soccer, Stark says volleyball would be his second-best sport, followed closely by basketball.
