Majors: Exercise Science and Kinesiology

Alexander Spence is pursuing majors in exercise science and kinesiology after choosing Union because of its outstanding athletic facilities. He looks forward to developing as both a student and an athlete while taking advantage of the university's resources. Spence hopes to become either a soccer coach or a physical education teacher, allowing him to stay involved in the sport while helping others develop their skills and passion for athletics.

Outside of soccer, Spence enjoys playing golf whenever he has the opportunity. Physical education was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo, whose work ethic, leadership, and success continue to inspire him. Steak with fries and broccoli is his favorite meal, while Lucozade Sport is his drink of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for a Snickers bar, and Snapchat is his preferred social media platform.

Spence considers himself a leader who strives to set a positive example for his teammates both on and off the field. He hopes to be remembered for his soccer ability and the impact he made throughout his career. He has a dog named Rodney and credits Titus Craig for being incredibly helpful even before he arrived at Union. If he weren't playing soccer, Spence says golf would be his second-best sport.
