Major: Biology

Tavarius Lilly is majoring in biology as he works toward his dream of becoming a pharmacist. He is passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare and hopes to help increase representation in the profession, recognizing that there are relatively few Black pharmacists. Lilly wants to be part of that change by inspiring others while making a positive impact through patient care. One of his favorite things about Union is its small campus, which makes it easy to get around and creates a close-knit environment.

Outside of soccer, Lilly enjoys reading in his free time. English was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Pelé, whose legendary career and influence on the sport continue to inspire athletes around the world. Chicken Alfredo is his favorite meal, while sweet tea is his drink of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for Takis, and Instagram is his favorite social media platform.

Lilly considers himself a natural leader who strives to encourage and lift up his teammates, whether he's wearing the captain's armband or not. He believes in continuing to fight for his team no matter the circumstances and hopes to be remembered for helping Union win a national championship during his freshman or sophomore season. He has two dogs, and one interesting fact about him is that he is double-jointed. Lilly also credits Coach Cima for making a lasting impact on his life by believing in him and giving him an opportunity to succeed when he needed it most. If he weren't playing soccer, he says taekwondo would be his second-best sport.
