Major: Political Science

For Ernest Duran, the best part of Union Commonwealth University is the community. He values the sense of connection and support he finds both on and off the field. Outside of soccer, he enjoys playing ping pong, and basketball is his second-best sport.

Ernest looks up to Lionel Messi as his icon. On the field, he considers himself a helpful teammate, always ready to support others. He hopes to be remembered for his kindness and the positive impact he brings to those around him.

When it comes to his favorites, Ernest enjoys shrimp for a meal and Fanta as his go-to drink. On road trips, he likes to snack on KFC. At home, he shares his life with pets, rounding out a balance of athletics, hobbies, and companionship that define his experience at Union Commonwealth University.
