Major: Business Administration and Management

Wassim Chaghouani is majoring in business administration and management after choosing Union because of its small-town setting and the natural beauty that surrounds campus. He appreciates the peaceful environment and believes it provides the perfect place to focus on both academics and athletics. Chaghouani's dream is to become a professional soccer player, a goal he has pursued since he was a young child. He hopes to one day make a career out of playing the sport he loves and believes there is no greater feeling than being able to do what you're passionate about every day.

Outside of soccer, Chaghouani enjoys traveling and seeking out new adventures whenever he has the opportunity. History was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo, whose dedication, discipline, and relentless pursuit of excellence continue to inspire him. While he enjoys many different types of food, he says it's difficult to choose just one favorite meal. Coffee is his drink of choice, and on road trips he's most likely reaching for a tuna sandwich. Instagram is his preferred social media platform.

Chaghouani describes himself as a friendly leader who enjoys having fun with his teammates but also knows when it's time to be serious and focused. He hopes to be remembered as someone who was honest, trustworthy, and dependable both on and off the field. Although he doesn't have any pets, he enjoys meeting new people and embracing new experiences. If he weren't playing soccer, Chaghouani says boxing would be his second-best sport.
