Major: Physical Education and Health

Saul Castellon is majoring in physical education and health after choosing Union because of its welcoming, close-knit community. He appreciates the small-campus atmosphere and the opportunity to continue growing as both a student and an athlete. Castellon's dream is to become a professional soccer player, and he is dedicated to working toward that goal while making the most of his collegiate experience.

Outside of soccer, Castellon enjoys playing video games in his free time. Physics was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Lionel Messi, whose creativity, vision, and accomplishments have inspired him throughout his career. Pizza is his favorite meal, while Sprite is his drink of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for Pringles, and TikTok is his favorite social media platform.

Castellon describes himself as a hardworking teammate who is committed to giving his best every day. He hopes to be remembered as a good person who treated others with kindness and respect. One interesting fact about him is that he has traveled to 12 different countries, giving him the opportunity to experience a variety of cultures. If he weren't playing soccer, Castellon says badminton would be his second-best sport.
