Major: Business Management

William Burton is majoring in business management after choosing Union because of its soccer program and the opportunity to continue competing at a high level. He hopes to one day become a professional soccer player, a dream he has had since he was a child. Burton is committed to continuing his development both on and off the field while making the most of every opportunity during his collegiate career.

Outside of soccer, Burton enjoys running and staying active. Math was his favorite subject in high school, and his favorite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo, whose dedication and goal-scoring ability have inspired him throughout his career. Sweet and sour chicken with rice is his favorite meal, while Sprite is his drink of choice. On road trips, he's most likely reaching for sweet and spicy Cheetos, and Instagram is his favorite social media platform.

Burton describes himself as a hardworking teammate who also brings positive energy and good vibes to the group. He hopes to be remembered for his goal-scoring ability and the impact he made on the field throughout his career. He has one dog and one cat, and if he weren't playing soccer, he says cross country would be his second-best sport.
