Ron-Jay Watson earns Second AAC Offensive Player of the Week honor

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University midfielder Ron-Jay Watson has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Watson delivered a standout performance in Wednesday's matchup against Bluefield, recording Union's first hat trick of the season within the opening 16 minutes. He also notched three assists, took seven shots, and placed four on target, leading the Bulldogs to a dominant victory.

With the win, the Bulldogs secured the No. 1 seed in the upcoming AAC Tournament. Union will open tournament play Friday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. against SMC at Williamson Stadium.
