Zakariya Shabir is an Accounting and Marketing major at Union Commonwealth University who loves representing his school on the soccer field. His dream is to become a professional soccer player, inspired by his favorite athlete, Steven Gerrard.

A natural leader, Zakariya is the kind of teammate who motivates and uplifts those around him. He wants to be remembered for the greatness he brought to the team as a whole.

When he's not playing soccer, he enjoys basketball, scrolling through TikTok, and hanging out with his small dog and cat. His go-to meal is a burger and fries, and he never says no to an Oreo milkshake or Dove chocolate on a road trip. The most impactful person in his college journey has been Jonathan Shaw.
