Major: Business Management

Philipp Garten is a Business Management major who values both performance and persistence. His favorite thing about Union is the facilities and the supportive environment he's experienced even before arriving on campus.

Outside of soccer, Philipp enjoys playing the drums, and he dreams of becoming a lawyer, inspired by his strong belief in justice. His favorite high school subject was History, and on the pitch, he looks up to legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

His go-to drink is water, his favorite road trip snack is nuts, and his ideal meal is pasta Bolognese. He’s active on Instagram and has a Labrador as a pet.

Philipp describes himself as a supportive but ambitious teammate who wants to be remembered for never giving up. When he’s not on the field, he also enjoys tennis and volleyball.
