Union’s Callum Edwards earns back-to-back AAC Player of the Week honors

Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Callum Edwards has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

Edwards scored four goals, recorded one assist, and totaled 14 points against Kentucky Christian last Wednesday. He also converted a penalty kick, keeping his season record perfect at three-for-three.

He now leads the Bulldogs with eight goals and 18 points, tying for first in the AAC for goals and leading the conference in points.

UCU extended its winning streak to six games with a 14-0 win over KCU last week.

The Bulldogs are now 6-1-1 (5-0 AAC) this season. Next for Union is a home conference match against Columbia on Oct. 5, at 10:30 a.m.
