Union’s Daniel Harrison named AAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Daniel Harrison has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. 

Harrison recorded five saves through two games while having a 1.000 save percentage in one game. He tallied one shutout against Bluefield. Harrison has a .833 save percentage, ranking second in the AAC, and his 0.36 goals-against average ranks first.

UCU went 2-0 on the week with wins over Bluefield and St. Andrews. They scored four goals while allowing one. 

The Bulldogs are 3-1-1 (2-0 AAC) this season. Next for UCU is a home conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 p.m.
