Edwards wins AAC Offensive Player of the Week Award

Barbourville, Ky. – For the second time this season, Union freshman Callum Edwards has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Offensive Player of the Week.

Edwards scored two goals in each of Union's games last week. The Bulldogs defeated Montreat 6-2 on Oct. 4, while picking up a 6-1 victory at Columbia on Oct. 7.

The freshman from Preston, England, has tallied 18 goals this season, which ranks second in the NAIA. Edwards has scored at least two goals in eight of Union's 11 matches this season.

Union is undefeated this season with an 11-0 (7-0 AAC) record, while having only allowed 11 goals. The Bulldogs have recorded 56 goals this season.
