Callum Edwards named AAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. – Union's Callum Edwards has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Edwards scored two goals in both of the Bulldogs' games last week.

In Union's 2-0 victory against Bluefield on Wednesday, he scored both goals in the second half. In Saturday's win over St. Andrews, Edwards scored two goals in the first half as the Bulldogs went on to win 5-2.

The freshman has scored nine goals this season, which places him in a seven-way tie for the second most goals scored by an NAIA men's soccer player this season.

Union is 6-0 (2-0 AAC) this season. Up next for the Bulldogs is conference game on the road against Johnson (Tenn.). That matchup is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. (EST).
