Union Men’s Golf Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout Recap
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Union Commonwealth University men's golf team recently participated in the Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout at the Johnson City County Club on April 6-7. The Bulldogs finished 10th overall.
Union posted a two-round team score of 650 (+ 74). The Bulldogs opened with a 327 in the first round before carding a 323 in the second round.
PLAYER RECAPS
Luke Townhill led the Bulldogs with a 156 (+12), opening with a 4-over 76 before adding an 8-over 80 in the second round.
Chandler Taylor followed at 157 (+13), posting rounds of 79 (+7) and 78 (+6).
Kaleb Ellis recorded rounds of 84 and 85 to finish at 169 (+25), while Gabe Raymundo matched that total with rounds of 88 and 81.
Todd Sizemore rounded out the lineup with rounds of 91 and 84, finishing with a 175 (+31).

The Bulldogs travel to the Hidden Cove Golf Course in Grayson, Ky. to compete in the KCU Invitational from April 13-14.
