Union Men’s Golf Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational Recap

RICHMOND, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University men's golf opened its spring season at the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational on March 21-22. The Bulldogs finished ninth overall.

Union posted a two-round team score of 630 (+70). The Bulldogs opened with a 298 in the first round before carding a 332 in the second round.

PLAYER RECAPS

Luke Townhill led the Bulldogs with a 143 (+3). He fired a 4-under 66 in the opening round before shooting a 7-over 77 in the second round.

Chandler Taylor followed with a 150 (+6), posting a 3-over 73 in the first round and a 12-over 82 in the second.

Gabe Raymundo recorded rounds of 78 and 85 to finish with a 163 (+23).

Todd Sizemore carded rounds of 81 and 88 to finish with a 169.

Bryce Messer rounded out the lineup with rounds of 93 and 88 for a total of 181.

The Bulldogs travel to Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, Tenn. to compete in the Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout on April 6-7.
