Union Men’s Golf UPIKE Fall Invite Recap

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's golf team placed 10th at the UPIKE Fall Invite, held Sept. 28–30.

The Bulldogs opened with a 32-over-par first round, followed by a 40-over second round and another 32-over in the final round. The team finished with a combined score of +104.

Player Recaps

Luke Townhill led the Bulldogs, tying for 35th place overall. He shot a 5-over in the first round, followed by a 7-over and 6-over in rounds two and three, respectively, for a total of 18-over par.

Gabe Raymundo and Chandler Taylor followed. Raymundo finished at 23-over (rounds of +5, +12, +6), while Taylor carded a 29-over (rounds of +7, +13, +9).

Todd Sizemore and Ethan Mott finished close together. Sizemore ended at 38-over (rounds of +16, +11, +11), and Mott shot a 42-over (rounds of +15, +10, +17).

Jonah Carden rounded out the lineup, finishing at 58-over (rounds of +18, +22, +18).
