Union Men’s Golf East Tennessee Collegiate Recap

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Union Commonwealth University men's golf team recently competed in the East Tennessee Collegiate from Sept. 22-23.

The Bulldogs finished with a combined team score of 664. In round one, the team finished  34-over par. In round two, they finished with a 27-over par to make their overall score +61.

PLAYER RECAPS

Chandler Taylor was the highest placing Bulldog in 44th place with a score of 150. He finished the first round with a 7-over 79 and a 1-under 71 second round to finish at +6 overall.

Luke Townhill followed slightly behind Chandler with a score of 152. In the first round, he finished with a 1-over 73 and a 7-over 79 in the second round to finish 8-over par.

Todd Sizemore posted scores of 85 and 81 in the first and second round, and finished his outing at 22-over par and a total score of 166.

Ethan Mott carded a 92 and an 84 in the first and second round, and was 32-over at the end of the outing with a score of 176.

Finishing out the team, Gabe Raymundo scored an 85 in the first round, but had to withdraw in the second round.

The Bulldogs will travel to Prestonsburg, Ky. to compete in the UPIKE Fall Invite from Sunday, Sept. 28 to Tuesday, Sept. 30.
