Watson’s Standout Performance Highlights Bulldogs’ 2025-26 Season Finale

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Union Commonwealth University concluded its men's bowling season at the 57th annual Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic, held at Western Bowl.

The massive event featured top-ranked programs in the men's division, with more than 1,300 bowlers representing 64 schools. Union placed 55th overall after competing in five traditional team games and 15 Baker games, finishing with a team total of 4,683, a Baker total of 2,463 and an overall score of 7,146.

Individual averages were calculated over the five team games, with bowlers ranked based on those results.

Gunner Watson showcased an outstanding performance, leading the Bulldogs with an individual total of 1,176 and a tournament average of 235 to earn a fifth-place finish out of over 500 bowlers.

Ethan Segna followed in 164th place with 959 total pins and a 192 average, while Hunter Cain placed 179th with 942 pins and a 188 tournament average.

Timothy Whittaker finished 244th with 810 total pins and a 162 average. Ryan Sheidler averaged 161 over four games for a total of 644 pins, and Johnathon Bayne contributed one game with 152 pins.

The Bulldogs closed the season on a high note and will look to build on this year's experience as they prepare for the 2026–27 season.
